The FFF has awards and cash prizes, totaling over $1,000 just for students!


The Future Filmmakers Forum showcases student-made films and encourages students in their craft, storytelling, and self-expression. The FFF event includes a screening of student short films, a filmmaker reception and an awards ceremony during the Sun Valley Film Festival this March. Get the chance to meet other filmmakers, learn from industry experts, and show off your work. Past special guests of the FFF have included Chace Crawford [Gossip Girl], Bobby Farrelly [Dumb and Dumber], Jack Falahee [How to Get Away with Murder], and more.

Open to students only, grades 7 through 12, for short films 10 minutes or less in length.

• Film must be helmed by student(s) grade 7 through 12
