Future Filmmakers Forum

The FFF has awards and cash prizes, just for students, totaling $1700!

The Future Filmmakers Forum showcases student-made films and encourages students in their craft, storytelling, and self-expression. The FFF event includes a screening of student short films, a filmmaker reception and an awards ceremony during the Sun Valley Film Festival this March. Get the chance to meet other filmmakers, learn from industry experts, and show off your work. Past special guests of the FFF have included Bobby Farrelly [Dumb and Dumber], Jack Falahee [How to Get Away with Murder], Chance Crawford [ ] and more.

Open to students only, grades 7 through 12, for short films 10 minutes or less in length.

Early deadline: September 27th, 2017

Regular deadline: November 8th, 2017

Late deadline: December 13th, 2017

Extended deadline: January 10th, 2018

JUDGING CRITERIA
- Strength of story
- Originality/Creativity
- Clarity

RULES
- Film must be helmed by student(s) grade 7 through 12
- Film must be 10 minutes or shorter in total run time
